Mount Rinjani National Park ( TNGR )




Mount Rinjani National Park or Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani is 41.000 hectares wide national park located on Lombok island, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It  is mainstay ecosystem in Lombok, which is has mountain rain forest and savannah.  


In  this national park, one of most attractive scenery that you would find is Lake Segara Anak.  In Nusa Tenggara native language Segara Anak means The Small Sea which is describe about the situation of this lake. This lake is about 160m – 230m depth and has temperature which is various from side to other side. Sometimes the water of like is a very strong sulfur smell but sometimes can smell like the mountain water. In the middle of lake Segara Anak came a new mountain called Mount New Finger. New Finger Mountain is believed to grow taller every year and now become new phenomenon in Rinjani National Park.
